Terms of Use

Last updated: May 28, 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using YourClaims ("the Service") at yourclaims.org, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated to registered users by email.

2. What YourClaims Is — and Is Not

YourClaims is an informational tool, not a law firm or legal service. Nothing on this website constitutes legal advice, and no lawyer-client relationship is created by using our Service.

We aggregate publicly available information about Canadian class action lawsuits and provide a matching tool to help you identify proceedings you may qualify for. Final eligibility determinations are made solely by the official claims administrator of each individual lawsuit — not by us.

We make no guarantees that:

  • ·You will be found eligible for any class action you are matched with.
  • ·Any settlement amount will be paid to you.
  • ·Our information is complete, current, or accurate in every respect.
  • ·A claim you submit will be accepted by the administrator.

Always verify claim details directly on the official court or administrator website before submitting a claim.

3. Eligibility to Use the Service

You must be at least 18 years of age and a resident of Canada or the United States to use YourClaims. By creating an account, you represent that these conditions are met.

4. Accounts and Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Notify us immediately at hello@yourclaims.org if you become aware of any unauthorized access to your account.

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraud, or abuse the Service.

5. Pricing

YourClaims is free to use. There are no paid plans, subscriptions, or fees of any kind. We reserve the right to introduce optional paid features in the future, at which point these Terms will be updated accordingly and registered users will be notified by email.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • ·Submit false or misleading information to inflate your match count.
  • ·Use automated tools to scrape or index our content without written permission.
  • ·Attempt to access another user's account or data.
  • ·Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law in your jurisdiction.
  • ·Resell, sublicense, or commercialize access to the Service without our written consent.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, branding, and materials on YourClaims (excluding publicly sourced lawsuit information) are the property of YourClaims and are protected under applicable copyright and trademark law.

Publicly available information about class action lawsuits (case names, deadlines, official claim links) is not owned by us and is reproduced here for informational purposes.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular class action match is complete or accurate.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, YOURCLAIMS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS OR UNCLAIMED SETTLEMENT AMOUNTS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

Because YourClaims is a free service, our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed $20, whichever is greater.

10. Governing Law

For users located in Canada, these Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.

For users located in the United States, these Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which you reside, without regard to conflict of law principles.

We reserve the right to bring enforcement actions in the jurisdiction where you are located. Nothing in this section limits either party's ability to seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
